What is the
Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (SBVS)

The Scottish Government has committed to provide superfast broadband access to every home and business in Scotland. Working alongside the R100 programme the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (SBVS) will help subsidise the cost towards building and installing faster broadband connectivity to premises.

Clive Downing
R100 Programme Director
At Netomnia, we’re not just laying fibre—we’re laying the foundation for a better-connected UK. Our ambition is bold, our approach is different, and our network is engineered to deliver uncompromising performance for decades to come.

Netomnia is a registered supplier on the Scottish broadband scheme helping bring Full Fibre broadband to communities across Scotland.

What is the value of a voucher?

The SBVS can provide a one-off voucher worth up to £5,000 to help deliver a permanent broadband connection to properties which currently have no plans for a superfast broadband upgrade. In some cases, rural addresses may be eligible for combined funding: Scottish Government funding of up to £5,000 per property alongside funding from the UK Government's Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS) which provides £1,500 for rural homes and £3,500 for rural businesses. If this is the case, chosen broadband suppliers take this into account automatically and manage this on your behalf. For those eligible for SBVS, Netomnia could supply multi-gigabit fibre to premises broadband with speeds that can reach 10 Gbps. Full scheme eligablity and terms and conditions can be found here.

Get involved

  1. Check if your address is included in one of our rollout projects by using the availability checker below.
  2. If your address is in a project area and you would like to consent and pledge your voucher towards our rollout, you must take out a minimum of a 12-month service package with an ISP on Netomnia's network and your new package must at least double your existing broadband speed.
  3. Once we have your consent and pledge we will pool the funding together with other vouchers pledges. When we have received sufficient vouchers from your local community for the project, we will request the funding to be allocated to the project by Digital Scotland.
  4. After we make this request, Digital Scotland will contact you via email to confirm your voucher pledge. This email must be actioned within 28 days from the date it is sent. Funding is not secured until this email is actioned.
  1. The project is dependent on residents and local businesses pledging their vouchers to our project. If sufficient vouchers are not received the project may not go ahead.
  2. If the project is unsuccessful, we will contact you to confirm we are not progressing with the project, and we will work with the internet service provider to ensure pre-orders are cancelled.
  3. To pledge your voucher towards our project, please complete our consent form.
  4. If your address is not included in a project at this time, you can register your consent with below for future consideration. If we establish a project in your area or bring your address into an established project, by completing our registration of consent for you agree for us to contact you in the future.
To register your consent please complete and submit our registration form.
